Fancy Friends Kit - A Perfect Christmas Gift Idea!

Stampin' Up! is trying another new idea!  They will now start offering some special Viewer's Choice/Submit a Project Kits with everything you need in them (except adhesive) to create some fantastic projects.

The first of these kits is the Fancy Friends Kit, item #132319.  For just $15.95, you get everything you need (except adhesives) to create six fast, easy, lovely note cards with envelopes.  Here's what is included in the Kit and how the finished note cards and envelopes can look:

Fancy friends kit
  • 6 Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes
  • Daffodil Delight Stampin' Spot
  • Old Olive Stampin' Spot
  • prepunched Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack flowers in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels (self-adhesive)
  • large wood-mount doily image from Delicate Doilies Set (page 110 of big catalog)
  • wood-mount "friends" sentiment from Sweet Essentials Set (page 140 of big catalog)
To assemble the cards:
  1. Stamp the doily image in Daffodil Delight or Old Olive ink three times on the card and once on the envelope, re-inking between uses.
  2. Stamp "Friends" in Daffodil Delight or Old Olive ink on the front of the card.
  3. Adhere the flowers to the card.
  4. Adhere Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of the flowers.
If six cards aren't enough, consider ordering a package of Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes (item # 107311, $5.95) for 20 more cards and envelopes.  You might want another package of Rhinestone Basic Jewels (item # 119246, $4.95) as well.  After all, you can never have enough bling!
I also recommend the 2-Way Glue Pen (item # 100425, $4.50) as the best way to adhere the tiny flowers to the card fronts.  You may order the Fancy Friends Kit through me or online HERE.  What a perfect Christmas gift!!!

Craft Show Goodies part 2

Soooo....the craft show was a fun and successful morning yesterday. I'm pretty proud of our displays and turnout. My upline/friend and I 'split' our space into two areas....traditional stamping (including all our ready-made goodies and cards) and a 2nd table dedicated just to MDS with lots of examples displayed. MDS was sooo popular!!

Time to Spice Things Up!!!

I found these apple cider packets at a "Dollar Store", (4 packets for a dollar!) and made these little treats. I think the cinnamon sticks were the most expensive item, lol. I loooove the Perfectly Preserved set, especially that jar!! Once I figured out 'my plan' lol, these were very quick and easy!

There's Always Time for Chocolate....

I tried to design a hot chocolate holder for an upcoming craft show. The inside plastic sleeve includes a hot chocolate packet, and a small bag of mini marshmallows. I attached a CUTE yummy chocolate dipped peppermint stick to the front. A big thank you to my upline, Shannon for letting me borrow her Labels Framelits!! Obe down....more to follow. Enjoy~

Craft Show Goodies part 1

My upline/friend and I are doing a 'quickie' craft show/festival Saturday morning (2 hour event) and we're busy whipping out little treats. Below is a picture of some hand sanitizer holders and lip balm holders. The front of the lip balms all have a stamp from the scentsational seasons set, cut from the matching framelit set, and embossed with the sugar/spice scented powder! (they have a neat shine to them). The lip balm is sugar cookie flavored. (cute, huh, HUH?)
